Background
Kissel was found tied up and stabbed to death in his Greenwich home on April 3, 2006. Leonard Trujillo has been charged with the actual stabbing, while Carlos Trujillo, Kissel's chauffeur, has been charged with conspiracy. At the time of his death, Kissel was under investigation for real estate fraud and sources have speculated that Leonard Trujillo may have been hired as a hit man by Carlos Trujillo, at Kissel's request, so that Kissel's daughters would receive his life insurance benefits. Carlos Trujillo was interviewed several times shortly after the murder and maintains his innocence.
