Carlos Quentin Broken Wrist

  • The Chicago White Sox announced that Major League Baseball player and possible Most Valuable Player candidate Carlos Quentin, will undergo wrist surgery and will miss the remainder of the MLB regular season. The announcement was made on September 5, 2008.

    The injury is considered be a big blow to the Chicago White Sox playoff hopes, who at the time of the injury were battling the Minnesota Twins for the American League central title.
