Quentin made his MLB debut on July 20, 2006, with the Arizona Diamondbacks. In his first season he appeared in 57 games and recorded nine home runs. The following season he appeared in 81 games and finished the season with a .214 batting average with 5 home runs. In 2007, Quentin was traded to the Chicago White Sox.
