Puerto Rican singer,
Carlos Ponce is a correspondent for the television entertainment news show
Entertainment Tonight. Early in his career, he had roles on the
Mexican soap operas
Guadalupe and
Sentimientos Ajeno. Ponce signed a recording contract with Emilio Estefan and made his initial album, entitled "Carlos Ponce." He, along with
Maria Conchita Alonso and
Walter Mercado, had a role in the 2003 film
Chasing Papi. His current project finds him teaming up again, with actress/singer
Maria Conchita Alonso and judge
Walter Mercado, on the reality show
Viva Hollywood.
