Carlos Mencia is best known for his weekly television show Mind of Mencia. In the beginning of 2007, several comedians, including Joe Rogan, Bobby Lee, and Bill Cosby, accused Mencia of stealing material from his peers.

Mardi Gras
Mencia was set to perform in the 2009 Mardi Gras in New Orleans on a float organized by the Krewe of Orpheus, and along with other celebrities such as Jim Belushi, Joan Rivers and Bryan Batt.
