This is the travel page on Capri Restaurants. Capri is a popular tourist destination in Italy and is an island off the Sorrentine Peninsula, south of the Gulf of Naples. The City of Capri is lined with expensive restaurants and boutiques. Capri became a popular resort for the rich and famous in the 1950's and has since seen some famous faces such as, Julia Roberts, Dustin Hoffman, Liz Hurley, Harrison Ford and Mariah Carey. One of the most famous tourist spots on the island is the Blue Grotto. The Blue Grotto, or Grotta Azzurra, is sea cave that once was the private bath of the Roman emperors that resided on the island. It's called the Blue Grotto because of blue tones that are created by the filtering of the light through the sea water.
