The Capital Indoor Stadium is a venue for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. The indoor arena will host volleyball events at the Olympic games.

Capital Indoor Stadium was originally built in 1968 to host sports such as basketball and hockey. The building was renovated in 2001 to meet Olympic requirements. Competition and training courts, as well as other rooms, were all upgraded, increasing the stadium's life by 30 years.
