Cape Cod is a popular tourism area in Massachusetts during the months between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Lodging in usually found in bed and breakfasts along the villages, but there are also motels, hotels and even some resorts. There are a variety of restaurants in the area, most specializing in seafood, like many coastal towns and villages.

Attractions
The Cape Cod National Seashore, a national park, is probably one of the biggest attractions in the area because of the beaches and wide range of activities that can be done there. It is comprised of 40 miles of seashore, as well as 43,500 acres of land habitat. There are beach fess and recreational vehicle permits must be applied for when using them in the park. There are a couple of visitor centers located with in the park, including Salt Pond and Province Lands. Both offer information to park guests about the habitat, wildlife and recreation available in that part of the Seashore Park. Rangers also offer guided tours throughout the area, but visitors can also take themselves on self-guided tours and experience the wonder of the park themselves.Activities
There really isn't anything that can't be done in Cape Cod. There are over 20 golf courses, bike trails, hiking trails, and even a number of theaters available for those interested in the arts. Cape Cod is known for a great place for whale-watching and many tour operators offer excursions out in the ocean to see them. Fishing is also popular among the locals and tourist, as well as boating and other water-sports. If your main focus when visiting Cape Cod is just to relax, take a towel and umbrella out to one of the many beaches and relax in the warm, soothing sun.Mahalo Suggests
