Cape Cod is a popular tourism area in Massachusetts during the summer months. Visitors generally go on vacation sometime between Memorial Day and Labor Day. There is a vast array of accommodation options in the Cape Cod area. From "plush" resorts to campgrounds, there is a budget range for everyone. With so much of the coastline in Cape Cod, you are sure to be near at least one of the beaches in the towns in the Cape. Many places are only open seasonally, between Memorial Day and Labor Day, so be sure to plan ahead before making any reservations.
Luxury Stay
If you're going to stay on the Cape in style, why not stay at the well-rated Wequassett Inn Resort & Golf Club? They are a four-diamond accommodation option, located right on the ocean. Not only is this resort rated exceptionally by Frommer's, but it's also a Condé Nast Traveler gold pick. It's set apart from the crowd, on it's own 22-acre peninsula and it's home to one of Cape Cods "top dining spots," 28 Atlantic. Lodging choices include "cozy" cottages to "elegant" suites and all include a list of amenities as luxurious as the resort. It's also been said that this is the place to go for tennis, golfing and sailing; they offer private tennis lessons, as well guest having "exclusive nonmember privileges" to the golf course. There really isn't much reason to even leave this resort once you've checked in!
Affordable Stay
The Old Sea Pines Inn provides guests some of the lower-priced sleep options on the Cape. Depending on what kind of room you want and whether or not you mind having a shared bath, room rates can be quite cheap. It's a "romantic" bed and breakfast set in Brewster. They are open all season and offer guest "off-season" rates and specials for those that are willing to stay on the Cape during the colder months.
