44 year-old Maryland woman gave birth and abandoned newborn baby in a portable toilet in Long Wharf Park, Cambridge. Afterward, she bummed a cigarette from a construction worker and sat at a nearby picnic table.

She warned a man passing not to enter the portable toilet because she just gave birth where he then called 911. He fished the unresponsive newborn which was covered in a blue antibacterial chemical. She faces charges of child abuse and reckless endangerment.
