The son of actor George C. Scott, Campbell Scott started his career in film with starring roles in The Sheltering Sky, Dying Young and Singles in the early 1990s. The National Board of Review awarded him their annual Best Actor award for his performance in 2002's Roger Dodger.

Big Night
Scott co-directed the film Big Night with Stanley Tucci. As it was the directorial debut for both actors, they won "Best New Director" awards from the New York Film Critics Circle and the Boston Society of Film Critics. Scott went on to direct a televised version of William Shakespeare's Hamlet and the films Final, Off The Map and 2008's Company Retreat.
Other Roles
Scott performed in the short-lived ABC series Six Degrees, which aired 14 episodes. Though the show has not been officially canceled, it has been put on an indefinite hiatus. Scott is also known for his voice-over work, adding narration to the films No End In Sight and One Week.
