On May 11, 2009, the U.S. military reported that five soldiers were shot by another American soldier on the base. Military Base Shooting
On the morning of Monday, May 11, 2009, military officials reported a shooting on the base. A soldier opened fire on fellow troops injuring at least three and killing five other soldiers.
