Career on the Rise
The Louisiana born performer's acting career started modestly as a series regular on the USA Network's television show Cover Me: The True Story of an FBI Family, and in roles for small films such as National Lampoon Presents Dorm Daze and Supercross starring Sophia Bush.
In 2006, she had a memorable guest appearance on the hit television show House M.D., which was followed by a two-episode role on the hit HBO television show Entourage.
She followed up that success by landing a starring role in the family film Alvin and the Chipmunks with Jason Lee.
She was slated to appear as a series regular on the HBO Comedy series 12 Miles of Bad Road with Lily Tomlin and Mary Kay Place, but after filming just six episodes the show was canceled.
