Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is a first person shooter game for the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. It is a western-themed game and a prequel to the original Call of Juarez. You play as vicious Wild West outlaws Ray and Thomas McCall. Along with their preacher brother William, the McCalls must survive everything from Civil War battles, to Indian attacks, to a conspiracy involving cursed Aztec gold in a dusty Mexican town named "Juarez".

McCall Brothers
You play as either McCall brother, Ray or Thomas. Before the level starts, select Thomas with LT, Ray with RT. Some levels will not give you a choice as to who to play as.
Ray's Abilities
- Ray can withstand much more punishment than Thomas thanks to his armor plate.
- Ray can duel-wield pistols. This makes him a considerably powerful fighter and with his defense tough to kill.
- Ray can throw dynamite, which is an extremely effective weapon and will make mincemeat out of bosses.
- Ray is able to break down doors, while Thomas is not.
- Ray cannot climb up obstructions and objects without help from other characters (usually Thomas).
- Ray's best pistols are probably dual Quickshooters. As long as he's landing headshots, he will down enemies very quickly and can reload almost instantly for more damage. For a two-handed weapon, he is best with shotguns as his defense allows him to rush enemies with them. For the more dangerous situations just have him spam dynamite.
- For Ray's Concentration, time stops, and you must guide the reticule over as many targets on screen as possible before time runs out, afterward, Ray will instantly shoot anything that was targeted. Try to ensure that your targets are headshots.
Thomas' Abilities
- Thomas has much less health than Ray, and should avoid damage as much as possible, sniping from a distance with some kind of rifle.
- Thomas has a much-improved fine aim mode over Ray's, and should always be shooting enemies while in fine aim.
- Thomas is the only one that can use knives. They are generally stealth weapons, although stealth is not much of a factor in this game. Make sure to land headshots when using them as they are not practical in a firefight.
- Thomas is the only one that can use the bow. The bow is actually fairly powerful when used properly. The key is to enter fine aim mode, which causes time to slow down temporarily as if in Concentration mode. Land as many shots as you can while time is slowed. The bow often one-hit kills at Prime levels and higher.
- Thomas has a lasso that allows him to rope himself up to out-of-reach areas. It's often used in special circumstances throughout the levels.
- Thomas can climb over taller objects, usually doing so to help Ray over them, although it can be useful for reaching good sniping areas.
- Since Thomas cannot duel-wield and should not be diving headfirst into the action, he's better off using powerful single-shot pistols like Rangers or Volcano Guns, allowing him to hit and run. For a two-handed weapon, he should always have a rifle of some type and a bow.
- For Thomas' Concentration, time stops, and the player must hold RT while tapping down on the RS. Everytime this is done, Thomas will shoot a target, no matter where it is, so long as he is able to shoot it.
Duels
- You'll often find yourself involved in a one-on-one duel with an opponent. To duel, use the LS to keep your opponent in the right-hand side of the screen. When the bell rings, you must guide your hand into your gun holster with the RS, then fire when the reticule appears on your opponent.
- It does not matter where you shoot your opponent. It's always a one-hit kill.
- If you try to grab your gun too soon, your character will refuse and you'll be temporarily unable to grab it again.
- You'll want to keep your hand close to the holster (so that it starts twitching) so that you are ready to grab it at a moment's notice. Note that the hand starts to drift away when you release the RS.

Chapter I Trenches
- Follow the trench till you run into the Confederate soldier ahead.
- Follow the soldier and he'll lead you to the "right flank". Shoot up all the Union soldiers coming down the hill until they retreat.
- Another soldier will come down from the next trench. Follow him to the next defensive position; open the crate full of ammo on the way if you need to.
- Defend the position as before; watch out for Union troops coming from the right.
- After repelling the Union, follow the trench to the next objective. Kick the doors down in your way and head out.
- Secret #1: After kicking open the doors, go out and immediately turn to your right.
- Pick off all the Union soldiers milling about the tents. The last one will be holed up inside the central tent; duck inside and blast him.
- Secret #2: Before heading into the tent with the last Union soldier, turn around from the tent entrance and go around to the right of the medical tent across from it. You'll see a wounded Confederate on a stretcher; the chest is just a bit ahead from him by the tents.
- The friendly soldier outside will be killed by sharpshooters in a scripted sequence. Grab his rifle and go out to find the two sharpshooters in the woods and kill them. Always make sure to keep the "star" icon (which alerts you to their location) behind some sort of cover when making your way over to a sharpshooter, or they will quickly bring you down.
- Head to the officer's tent once the sharpshooters are dead. After the cutscene, follow the soldier outside to the next objective.
- The next objective gives another cutscene, then once again you must follow a soldier along the creek into a culvert; he'll slip through a small crag and you must follow him.
- Secret #3: Before following the soldier into the culvert, go to the right and follow the rock-hewn wall till you hit a chest.
- Get the two pistols out and follow the creek till it ends into the Concentration tutorial, which unlocks Concentration.
- To use Concentration, tap B, then aim the reticule on each of the Union soldiers on the river bank before time runs out (you can skip the wait by pressing B again). Your character will mow down anything the reticule touched. You can retry this tutorial after completing it.
- 99 Scalps: Easiest and quickest way by far to get this achievement. Just do the Concentration tutorial, and make sure the reticule touches their heads first, so that all of the Union soldiers are killed by headshots. Then just hit RETRY and repeat.
- After the tutorial, a squad of Union will tear around from the right; waste them. You'll reunite with the squad from before who will want you to escort them to the enemy trenches.
- Follow the squad, blasting all the Union soldiers below in the prairie, into the enemy trenches.
- Once you get in the trenches, IMMEDIATELY go left and open the crate here for a shotgun.
- There's another crate here holding dynamite. Open it, then throw a dynamite at the pile of debris just to the right to blast it down.
- Get the shotgun out and follow the linear path. It ends into the Dynamic Cover tutorial. Just stand in the glowing spot by the wall and use RS to peek around and shotgun the Union soldiers. There will be another cover spot by the crates where the Union soldiers were hiding.
- Follow the linear path, shooting all in your way in the trenches. You will pass by an ammo shelter (raid it for ammo) and past that an ambush point. It's best to use dynamite to clear these areas out. Also, watch out for explosive barrels; shoot these to take out a lot of Union.
- Secret #4: From the ammo shelter, go to the ambush point, then make a right at the fork, then a left, then another left. The secret is in the dead end.
- None Shall Hide: Using the shotgun, you'll pretty much get this easily here, blasting Unions through all sorts of obstructions.
- Follow the trenches and you will meet up with Thomas. After the cutscene, climb up the ladder next to the entrance of the room you met Thomas and man the gatling gun.
- Mow down everything coming up the river with the gatling gun. They won't stand a chance if you are quick. Afterward, you'll need to follow another soldier through the trenches.
- There will be plenty of Union through the next set of trenches. If need be, dump the shotgun for a rifle to snipe shooters that are camped behind objects or up high. Be liberal with your dynamite as you'll find plenty in crates.
- The path ends into a ladder that leads down and then another that leads back upward. If you are hurting, use Concentration to save you from death.
- The linear path will end into the commander's post. There's a lot of Union here; either drop a good amount of them with Concentration, or use a shotgun to blast through the thin wood walls they are taking cover behind.
- Once the commander is dead, turn around and man the wheeled artillery cannon next to your friendlies. You'll need to bombard the rafts way back in the river before they shore, i.e. before the riverbank objects on your side of the river obscure your view of them. If they shore, you'll need to bomb or shoot them. Note that the artillery must be aimed high above the actual target, lowering it the close they get to land.
- D-Day: This is a very difficult achievement; you must hit all the rafts before they shore. If one of them shores (no matter which one), four Union will appear from the big boulder and you will lose the achievement. First, you must turn Gamma and Sensitivity options up to the max to make things much easier. Next, there is a secret HIDDEN raft that will really ruin your day; it spawns in a hidden spot and only appears when there are only two or less rafts remaining. Next, the rafts closer to the middle shore the fastest, with the ones on the furthest sides taking the longest. Finally, you must know the spawn points. To begin start by bombing the first raft dead ahead, then pan left and hit the next raft coming out from behind the tall tree, then pan left to hit the raft very close by the waterfall at the left-hand edge of this river. Now pan right, skipping the lone raft you see coming near the first spawn point, until you see three rafts coming from the bridge on the right. These are all the major spawn points (there are a few extra points by the sides of the middle spawn points). Now waste everything in the right and middle, ignoring the spawn point by the waterfall until you see only about two or so rafts left. Pan left and you should see TWO rafts side-by-side coming from the waterfall spawn point, heading for the brush on your side of the river. Waste them, then bombard just behind that brush until you are sure you caught that damn secret raft (it spawns behind the brush, and will disappear almost instantly). Finally, kill the last two rafts. Whew!
- Forgivith Me, Lord: The raft-bombing mini-game is a great way to build for this achievement if you need to.
- After repelling the rafting enemies, follow the allied soldier to the next objective: a bridge to destroy.
- Your soldier will get shot at the checkpoint. If you have a shotgun, dump it for his rifle, then pop everything coming up the hill behind the rocks.
- Head under the bridge and go towards each of the posts highlighted with a "dynamite target". Press X at each target to set bombs. Watch the river, it has a mighty current.
- Secret #5: There is a Confederate corpse on a small rock island next to a bomb spot. Jump onto the island using the river current, and grab the secret out of his hands.
- One all bombs are set, head back ashore to the final objective. Use the plunger to blow the bridge and end this level.
- You'll be forced to play as Thomas in this level. Follow Ray. Along the way, you will learn Thomas' version of Concentration; press B, hold down RT, then tap the RS down in a rythum, as if it were a revolver's hammer.
- Follow the trail up the hill and kill the Union. There will be more at the ranch ahead, which they've set aflame.
- Now you will need to save Jackson, the ranch owner. Ray will lead you to him. Pick up a bucket by the well and hurl it into the flaming doorway, then attempt to open the door. Ray will then kick it down and save Jackson.
- Next, you must check the stables. Follow Ray to a red point and stand in it. He will kick the doors in and begin a Cooperation Concentration attack...against a cow. You can participate to kill the cow, or avoid shooting the cow.
- Secret #1: Go inside the stables and look for a chest tucked in a small stable to the right of where you first saw the cow.
- Either way, enter follow Ray to a red point and press A to climb, then use another point to pull him up. Follow him to the back exit of the stables.
- Yankee Cow: If you avoided killing this cow by this point, you will get this achievement.
- A cutscene will occur. Go left and get behind the wagon, then quickly snipe the Union shooters before they realize you are there.
- Once you are alert and the Union starts firing back, go around the house onto the roof, then jump from rooftop to rooftop killing Union.
- Afterward, raid the houses for loot. If you wish, you can shoot out windows, then jump inside.
- Secret #2: Inside the bottom floor of the house to the right of the tree.
- Secret #3: Inside the upper floor of the house to the right of the locked house.
- Once you're ready, head toward the trail to a plantation.
- Ray will find Jackson's corpse, then dive into the cornfield. Follow him till you get a brief cutscene.
- Your goal now is to sneak through the cornfield (via crouching) and kill all the Union before they find Ray, preferably with Thomas' throwing knives as they are a stealth weapon. Head for the tree ahead, using it as a marker, then kill the Union soldier to the left of it, then the one to the right, then work your way rightward, taking the line of Union out one by one.
- Catcher in the Rye: If you kill all the Union here without them finding you or Ray, you get the achievement. It's ok if you have to hit them with more than one knife, so long as they can't find either McCall brother. It's best if you set the option "Revert From Crouching" off for this.
- The Union will respond by setting the cornfield on fire. Head to the tree you used to mark the Union. There's a lasso here. Collect it, then equip it and aim at the targeted branch. Press RT to lasso it, then climb with LS. Climb to the top, then snipe the soldier in the distance marked with a star.
- Now follow Ray. He'll hit what's left of the Union roadblock. Help him waste the Union, then steal their horses. Ride the horses down the road into the McCall Plantation
- Likely your horse will be shot up by the Union as you invade the plantation through the front. Take cover behind the marble pedestals and trees as you blast the Union. Don't be afraid to use concentration.
- Drive-by: Kill as many Union as you can on horseback, and keep reloading the checkpoint here until you get it.
- After slogging through the Union, you will encounter a pavillion in front of the McCall manor. Union troops will be guarding the front, armed with artillery. Hopefully you save some concentration; if so, wait for them to fire an artillery blast, then run around the fountain right in front of them and use Concentration to waste everybody guarding the door. Otherwise, snipe/run and gun your way to the manor door.
- Stand on the red point and Ray will begin a Cooperation Concentration mode against the Union inside the manor foyer. Blast them all.
- Frag Steal: Plenty of places to get this, but this is the earliest. Just kill all the enemies before the Cooperation Concentration mode timer runs out. Don't forget the fifth man on the foyer stairs. If you mess up, reload to quickly try again.
- With the foyer captured, go up the stairs and waste the two guards. A hostage crisis will break out behind the double doors on the second floor. Ray will instruct you to go out onto the balcony; follow the star to the next objective.
- Secret #4: Just by the two guards you just wasted is an overturned dresser. Behind the dresser is a black chest.
- Secret #5: From Secret #4, go out the window directly across from it. It's on the balcony outside the window.
- Go out to the balcony as instructed and use the lasso to reach the one across. Step on the red point to begin another Cooperation Concentration attack.
- Afterward, follow Ray and Will McCall out to the harbor. Kill all the Union guarding the dock.
- Next, take the cannon and bomb the steamboat coming down the river. It will capsize, but a slew of Union will still make it to the dock. Man a gatling gun and mow them down. After winning this battle, the level will end.
- You first begin by dueling with the town marshall. Slowly guide your hand with RS towards your sidearm until your fingers "twitch", and keep them there. When the bell sounds, guide your hand into your sidearm. A targeting reticule will appear; wait for it to pass over your enemy's body and fire. Your opponent will die no matter where they are hit.
- Afterward, get inside the saloon before you are shot up. Fight the enemies outside until they start burning down the saloon, then flee upstairs to the second floor.
- Secret #1: In the bookshelf in the hall on the second floor of the saloon.
- Enter the bedroom and kick down the door if you are Ray (as Thomas, Ray will do it automatically). There's a Quickshooter in this room if you want it. Go outside and follow the McCall brothers.
- Enter the weapon store and buy some guns if you want, including Heavy Scoped Rifles and Quickshooters.
- Secret #2: Exit the weapon store and face towards the hay bundles under the awning to your left. Open the chest by the hay.
- Follow the McCall brothers to a dead-end. As Thomas, you'll have to lasso your way up to the second floor railing, then pull up Ray. As Ray, you need simply wait for Thomas to get into position to pull you up. Ray will then need to kick down a nearby door.
- After the door is kicked down, ignore the scared woman inside and jump out the window for a cutscene.
- Secret #3: In the chest next to the woman's bed.
- As Thomas, you'll go out and snag the stagecoach; as Ray, you'll cover him. Make sure to build up Concentration before getting aboard the stagecoach. Once the two brothers are in, you'll ride off.
- The stagecoach will be stopped by a roadblock. Immediately use Concentration to blow away the crew at the roadblock, then disembark.
- Secret #4: Go directly left (facing the wagon) from the stagecoach and look for the chest by some hay bundles.
- Secret #5: Inside the barn next to the stagecoach, underneath a bathing tub propped next to a post with a saddle on it.
- Head to the red point on the wagon and interact with it, then get back on the stagecoach.
- What will begin next is a rail shooter sequence. Just kill the enemies as you travel about town in the stagecoach. There will be a couple of Cooperation Concentration sequences. Eventually you will escape town onto the highway.
- This time, you will climb inside the stagecoach and begin shooting riders as they flank the stagecoach. Shoot them down over and over until the sequence ends.
- Mayhem: If you manage to kill 20 enemies total during all the stagecoach rail shooting sequences, you'll unlock this after killing the 20th enemy.
- Arkansas Fried Rooster: Throughout this level, you'll find groups of chickens hanging around. Throw dynamite into their group to blow them up. Blow up ten chickens to get this achievement.
- Blast the hordes of enemies trying to kill you. You'll need to approach the cantina doors to draw them all out.
- Mad Carpenter: If you wish, you can simply kill all the thugs on the ground floor with chairs to get this achievement. Getting killed won't affect your "achievement progress".
- After wasting them all, the McCall brothers will converse, then the next objective begins: save the mystery woman. Begin by starting a Cooperation Concentration mini-game.
- Afterward fight your way down the street, following the McCall brother. Eventually you will reach another instance where Thomas has to pull up Ray.
- Keep fighting onward, plowing through crew after crew. Watch out for the goons shooting at you from behind sandbags; shoot the lamps on the sandbags to give them grief.
- Secret #1: Right next to the white archway, on the other side from the sandbags.
- The path will lead back onto the main street, then into a sniper ambush in another alley.
- As you round the corner, you'll be under attack by three snipers on top of a merchant store. As Ray, you'll need to take cover and distract them till Thomas takes them out. As Thomas, you'll need to instead climb onto the shed to your right, drop down over the other side, then go around behind the building to find a lasso point, then rope your way up to them.
- Secret #2: In the black chest right by the pile of crates where Ray takes cover.
- Sniper Distraction: As Ray, simply run up to the front of the building and shoot them before Thomas can get to them (use a Concentration attack if you have one).
- Sniper Destruction: As Thomas, just run out to the front of the saloon and gun them all down in less than 10 seconds using a Concentration attack (make sure to have one ready when you reach this point).
- After the sniper ambush, follow the McCall brother, shooting through the goons to a villa. Don't forget to grab one of their shotguns.
- Kick the doors to the villa in to begin a Cooperation Concentration event. Kill all the goons rampaging around the villa.
- Fireworks: This is an incredibly easy spot to get this achievement IF you do not kill the goon on the second floor railing of the villa. That goon loves to spam dynamite tosses. Stay by the archway entrance to the villa and pick off a couple of his dynamite while they are airborne.
- Go around the villa and get ready for a duel with The Rattler. He will go down easily, like any other duel.
- Next, fight your way down the alley past The Rattler. It will end into a storefront. There's a weapon store here you can purchase supplies at.
- Secret #3: In the black chest next to the water pump right in front of the weapon store.
- Keep following the linear path to an ambush point by a cart hitched to a horse. Afterward, continue following the McCalls.
- Secret #4: Enter the next alley after the horse and cart. There is a small grass patch here with a goat. It's on the nearby bench, next to the hat.
- The linear path leads to the area in front of the church. Kill all the goons here.
- Enter the church to meet the mystery woman, Marisa, then begin the Cooperation Concentration mini-game. Afterward, blow down all the goons outside until they stop coming.
- Secret #5: Inside the church where you meet Marisa. Get it before wasting all the goons.
- Simply follow the linear path down the trail into the bottom of the basin, blasting all in your path.
- Secret #1: In a black crate by the wagons at the bottom of the basin.
- Follow the trail from the basin into an area with shacks, sheds, and a barn to the left. The first thing to do is fight your way into the barn, and from there flank the enemies. There's also a double-barreled shotgun in the barn and a secret weapons store in the upper right corner of this area that sells prime guns, including a helpful Prime Classic Rifle.
- Secret #2: From where you first enter this area, go directly right and explore the stalls, looking for a black chest. It's sorta close to the secret weapons store.
- Continue up the trail from the shack area until you reach Devin's residence.
- Use the rifle or double-barreled shotgun to blast the snipers in the windows after clearing the thugs below.
- Next, open the doors of Devin's home with a Cooperative Concentration attack. Clear out the first floor, then fight your way up the stairs.
- The second floor has more goons; waste them and head out to the balcony.
- Secret #2: Inside the bedroom on the second floor, by some luggage.
- Watch out for more thugs hiding underneath and on top of the water tower outside. Afterward Thomas will need to lasso across the gap to the other side, while Ray covers him.
- The water tower will collapse (if you're Thomas, don't let it fall on you!), cutting the brothers McCall off from each other.
- If you're Ray, you'll need to kick down the gate nearby and race down the hill to the mine entrance.
- Once inside, make sure to blast the thugs on the catwalks (the shotgun can blast through the flooring) and keep fighting until you encounter a dead-end of rubble and wood. Blow it apart with dynamite and continue.
- Follow the linear path blasting all the cowboys in your way. After blowing up another dead-end with dynamite, you'll find another crew to shoot. Up ahead though, a thug will attempt to blow up the mine cavern (you'll hear him discuss this aloud). Race to the end of the cavern before it collapses.
- After surviving the collapsing mine, you'll reunite with Thomas.
- Thomas will have a harder time. Hopefully you bought the Prime Classic Rifle. Go up the nearby stairs. Do not leave the shack nearby until you are sure you've killed six or so sharpshooters, including one below on the ground.
- Go down the next set of stairs and shoot another sharpshooter on the ground from behind your cover, then use the lasso to rope the catwalk ahead and swing over the gap.
- Run to the next bit of cover on the catwalk and blast two more sharpshooters, then use the lasso again to cross another gap.
- Run forward to get a cutscene, then clear the ground below of thugs before traveling down. Continue on to catch up with Ray.
- Move on and you'll encounter a sniper attacking in a watchtower in the center of the gulch. Go up the trail to the right to get into position to take him out.
- Reunite with your McCall brother at the bottom, where the two discuss Devin's horses. Now head up five flights of stairs to the top of the gulch, shooting all in your path. Some of the thugs are using sawed-offs and double-barreled shotguns, so watch out.
- Secret #3: After going up the fourth flight of stairs, make a u-turn and follow the catwalk past these stairs to its end to find a black crate.
- Keep blasting your way up the top, then follow the long trail down into another mining area.
- Blast your way through the cowboys into the central area, filled with catwalks and stairs leading upward. This will be a rough area, filled with gunslingers and thugs throwing dynamite. If you are Ray, spam dynamite of your own to quickly clear out the bottom crews, so that you can head up the stairs and get the dynamite thrower.
- Head upwards, sniping/shotgunning all in your way. At the top is a long wooden bridge; cross it.
- On the other side of the bridge is a brutal ambush, with a really annoying dynamite thrower. Quickly find him and snipe him. Use dynamite to clear out the thugs by the shack if you are Ray, then run past the shack, down the stairs, into the next area.
- Secret #4: Underneath the stairs next to this shack.
- The next area contains a duel with Devin's top assassin. Win the duel to end the level.
- Chapter VI is unique in that you can perform side quests before continuing onward (collect a wanted poster on the weapon store to begin one. Otherwise, you can talk to the brothers McCall by the weapon store to continue the main game whenever you like.
- The store has "prime weapons" that are really useful. You'll want to at least buy dual Prime Quickshooters for Ray and Prime Classic Rifles for Thomas.
- Secret #1: Exit the weapon store and face the brothers McCall. Now go up the hill straight to the small white house. Look for a black crate by the barrels.
- Secret #2: Go to the tree near the weapon store and you'll see a sleeping man. Pick up the secret right next to him (he'll try to kill you in retaliation).
- Secret #3: Face the McCall brothers, then ride to the right along the roads until you spot a white house. Use the ladder in the back to climb onto the roof for the black chest.
- Secret #4: From Secret #3, face the white house from the direction you came, then turn left and ride along the mountain range for a while until you find an abandoned mine shaft. While Ray can blow open the gate on the shaft to open the chest for loot, the real secret is inside the mine cart sitting right next to it.
- Secret #5: Head to the windmill near the weapon store. Face in the direction opposite the weapon store; you should see three big pointy boulders on the hill on the other side of the road. Head to the middle one and look for a hangman's gallows behind it. The secret is here, placed underneath a knapsack.
- Take a horse and ride out to the objective's location; a mountain trail leading up the road. Watch out for a group of rustlers on the trail leading in.
- Follow the trail upwards. It will make a sharp right and then lead back down; don't fall off the mountain.
- Secret #6 When the trail curves sharply and heads downward, look to the right for a big tree branch extending from a large boulder. There's a small cliff here you can climb onto. At the cliff's edge, there's what looks like a sniper's nest; the secret is there.
- The trail will then curve upwards out of the canyon and then veer left. You'll suddenly be under assault from a sniper, so gallop forward to an ambush point (or snipe him as Thomas).
- Kill the first group of rustlers, then walk along the trail to encounter another group, much bigger than the last one and shooting from all sides. Use a Concentration attack if you have one, although be very careful not to hit the cow that is in the distance.
- Past this group you'll find the stolen cattle; you must avoid accidently killing the cattle. Snipe from the rock next to the bend that leads into this area, starting from the left and working your way right to the tents. When there's only a few rustlers left by the tents, rush them.
- Head into the gulch past the tents. You'll take on a boss of sorts; the rustler chief will be sniping you from one of three locations above. Keep landing headshots on him and he'll challenge you to a duel; win that to end this mission.
- Secret #7 Before returning to the weapon store, get back on the road that led to the rustler's camp. Follow the road opposite the direction you came in. It will end into a very steep hill drop; go down it and head left to an abandoned stone house. The secret is in the front yard, by a picnic basket.
- From the weapon store, ride directly toward the objective. You should encounter a woman under threat from thugs. You get nothing special for rescuing her.
- Secret #8 From the woman you rescue, head directly over the hill towards the Julian Ramos compound. On the other side is a wagon wreck; a vulture will fly away when you approach it. Open the black chest here.
- Head to the Julian Ramos compound, parking your horse by the wood gate in the back. Ray will have to blow open the front gate with dynamite; Thomas will instead have to lasso the water tower to the left of the gate.
- Don't bother shooting through the windows, they are barred. Instead, if you are Ray, blast your way to the back and kick in the back door, then shotgun your way through the house to the second floor.
- Break into the second floor bedroom. Ramos will taunt you and flee. Kill his men and head out the open balcony door.
- Secret #9 Don't forget to open the safe by Ramos' master bed.
- Kill Ramos' crew outside, then exit through the now open wood gate. If you parked your horse near here, you can quickly get on it and ride to the next objective.
- Ramos will be holed up in a shack. Just shotgun/rifle shoot his men through the windows, then kill Ramos in a duel. Don't forget to raid the shack for money and supplies.
- Secret #10 Before leaving, go around to the back of Ramos' shack (there's a horse back here). Get onto the road nearby and make a right onto it. Follow the road past a burned-down house; the road eventually ends into a graveyard. Kill the grave robbers and search one of the coffins (the wooden one with a skull inside it).
- Head to the objective. You may encounter one couple under assault by bandits, and another having their wagon robbed. You get nothing for saving them.
- Head to the objective; it leads into a narrow mountain pass, which leads further into a cave made home by bandits.
- Secret #11: Before heading into the mountain pass, face it, then turn left and follow the mountain range as it curves to the right. You'll find an abandoned scaffolding. The secret is inside a wood bucket attached to a post, high up on the scaffolding. You'll need to take advantage of your McCall brother's particular talents to reach it (the methods will be obvious).
- This mission is straightforward: kill everything in your way to the end of the cave. There will be loads of enemies to shoot. Don't be afraid to use Ray's dynamite, especially since there is a lot of explosive barrels about.
- At the end of the linear path, you'll take on the bandit leader. Just shotgun his head a couple times, then kill him in a duel. If you want, you can grab his money bags in the center of his arena amongst the pile of stolen goods.
- Secret #12: Inside one of the chests amongst the stolen goods pile.
- Ride down the long trail to the town below. Park the horses when in town as Thomas will need to pull Ray up over an obstruction.
- Head down the street and an ambush will break out. Watch the rooftops ahead and shoot everything trying to hit you from where the ambush occured.
- Go attempt to open the front door to the jail; it's locked. One of the brothers will discover that the rusty iron window bars can be pulled down. Find a nearby horse and ride it over to the windows for a cutscene.
- Enter through the window and get ready for a Cooperation Concentration attack in the sheriff's office. Afterward, raid it for supplies.
- Secret #1: Don't forget the black chest in the sheriff's office.
- Blast your way into the jail and search for a locked door. Afterward, go upstairs and blast everything up on the second floor. You'll find a key to the door.
- Go back downstairs and open the locked door. Now head back outside through the window and follow your partner, fleeing the hail of bullets.
- Another firefight will break out in the area ahead. You'll need to work quickly to repel the advancing gunners as well as a mob of shooters jumping down from the right. Afterward, Thomas can pull Ray up where the shooters came from, or you can just go up and around using the stairs.
- On the other side, another ambush breaks out. Thomas will need to rope his way up to the second floor window above and make his way through the building out the blown-out window to the other side, opening the locked gate. Ray will need to stay put and survive a steady stream of shooters on two rooftops.
- Once the gate is open, follow your brother to yet another shoot-out, this time at an explosive munitions warehouse. Set off the explosives (Ray's dynamite will be fastest) to create a massive explosion that will clear the way and wipe out the enemies at the same time.
- Past the wreckage, three snipers will try to pin you down. One brother will need to distract while the other takes them out. The snipers can withstand a bit of punishment, so be careful. Cooked dynamite can destroy them easily if you are good enough.
- Secret #2: Right behind the barn with the snipers.
- Next, head to the gate and get ready for another Cooperation Concentration attack. Once they are all dead, Thomas will need to climb the water tower to the top for a cutscene, while Ray covers him.
- A massive mob of Pinkertons will jump over the fence in the alleyway in between the two buildings ahead of the water tower. If you are Ray, get the drop on them with dynamite. Afterward, head through the nearby open door.
- Ray will kick in the door to the lobby of the building you are in. However, there's a big ambush outside, including a wagon armed with a gatling gun. If you are Ray, the best thing to do is get to the window closest to the Pinkerton with his back turned, then shotgun him and the guy manning the gatling gun, then use a Concentration attack to clear out the rest. Now he can race outside and use the gatling gun for himself. Thomas should go upstairs and snipe from the second floor windows.
- Vindicator: Ray has the ability to pick up gatling guns and use them. Pick up the gatling gun here and hide between the wagon further ahead and the barrels. Blast everybody coming down either street and out the saloon balcony, then reload when you run out of ammo and repeat.
- Keep progressing down the main street. Every block will have an ambush, mostly coming from the rooftops. Hopefully Ray will have Prime Quickshooters or Shotguns, allowing him to get rid of enemies above quickly. Thomas can get onto the second floor areas to help provide covering fire.
- The lot in front of the saloon will have one final ambush. Stay away from the wagon in the center as it will explode. Once you've cleared all the enemies on the roofs, kill the scores of men coming from the saloon, then enter.
- There will be plenty of packed enemies in the bar area. Hopefully you have a Concentration handy to get rid of them. Afterward, head upstairs.
- Secret #3: Behind the bar itself in the bar area.
- Go to the top floor and wipe out the smattering of foes left, then speak with the arms dealer.
- Afterward, open the door to go out onto the balcony. You'll be called out by the Pinkerton commander. Kill him in a duel to continue.
- Follow your team as they battle up the street. Thomas will help Ray onto the rooftops.
- Cross along the rooftops shooting at everybody firing at you from the streets and balconies. Eventually you will be lead to a section of rooftop you can jump down from.
- Secret #4: Right near where your compatriots land after jumping down off the rooftops, in a chest underneath a wood awning.
- Secret #5: From Secret #4, run across the street to the other side through the alleyway with the wagon. There will be a tree past the wagon, and to the left a pair of horses. The black crate is next to the black horse.
- Head out to the final battle. There will be a seriously large crew of foes here, but they will flood in without strategy and get wasted. The real problem is the gatling gun; go behind the building to your left and look for stairs leading up and inside. Snipe the gatling gunner.
- After killing all the enemies, capture the stables ahead and enter it to end the level.
- Like Chapter VI, you will be able to perform some sidequests and collect secrets if you like before moving on with the main game by talking to your brothers.
- Secret #1: On the fruit stand outside the weapon store.
- Secret #2: It's on a box of coal at a cabin deep in a forest. To get to it, exit the weapon shop from the door with the sidequest posters next to it, and go straight over the hill ahead into the woods.
- Head straight to the first objective on horseback.
- Secret #3: Stop by the ranch with the three buildings, killing the enemies here. Go around the back of the buildings; one has a wood crate propped against the back wall with the secret on it.
- Secret #4: From Secret #2, face the Handwritten Memo objective, then turn left and hug the mountain ranges until you are able to climb onto a flat cliff overlooking the valley (you can see a railroad trestle in the distance). Follow the cliff until you encounter two bandits by a campsite. Kill them and take their secret.
- The objective leads to the Freeman ranch, who had written the memo. He needs you to get to the balcony of his house and defend him from hired guns from a rival rancher named Snipes.
- Secret #5: On Freeman's ranch, open the black chest behind the shed where the white goat is at.
- From the balcony, spam dynamite or rifle shots to get rid of the hired guns quickly. Afterward, ride to the next objective, the Snipes' farm.
- It's best to hit the farm from the back, blasting foes until they stop coming. Afterward, raid the house.
- Secret #6: In a black chest on the second floor of the barracks in the Snipes' farm.
- Clear out the house, then head to the second floor to challenge Snipes to a duel. Win it to end the mission.
- Secret #7: On your way back to the weapon store from the Snipes' farm, face the "corner" of the mountain range, then follow it away from the farm in the general range of the weapon store. You should encounter a burned-out home with bandits camping outside it. Kill them and take the secret on the crate.
- Take up the sidequest and follow the objective into the ravine.
- An ambush will break out as you head through the pass; kill them.
- Secret #8: It's in the area with the ambush. It's to the left from where you come in, on a cliff overlooking the area, stuffed under a knapsack. If you encounter wooden guardrails, you've gone slightly too far.
- Follow the trail down to Peter's hideout. Ray will have to dynamite open a side entrance; Thomas will need to rope his way up a tree into the compound.
- Blast your way through the thick resistance to the wooden gate, then fight your way through the mob into the barn.
- Exit the barn once it's captured and Peters will appear. Kill him in a duel.
- Secret #9: Inside the barn where Peters confronts you.
- Secret #10: Search the cliff behind Peters' hideout. There's a smoking campfire here, and below it is a cliff with a corpse. Looks like he slipped and fell in a drunken stupor; take his secret.
- Ride on horseback to the first objective, a small ranch. You may encounter Indians robbing a stagecoach along the way; you get nothing for stopping them.
- Secret #11: It's at the ranch where the first objective is at. It's on a crate in the stable with the wagon, goats, and horses.
- Talk to the supervisor and he'll warn of Indians. They will eventually attack, starting by killing the sniper on the tower. They will ambush from the fence ahead as well as from behind and above on the stable. They must NOT kill railroad workers or you will fail and have to reload a checkpoint.
- After clearing them out, get on a horseback and ride across the railroad trestle to the other side. Kill any Indians on your way.
- At the next stop, fight off all the Indians invading from the forest to the right. Any Indians you left alive by the railroad trestle will also attack. Once you've repelled this invasion, you've won.
- Secret #12: In a black chest behind the crates under the shed roof by the campfire.
- Once you regain control of your character, grab the chair and use it to kill the guard coming in the room.
- You'll automatically get your weapons back by killing the guard. Waste the enemies outside.
- Follow the stairs and catwalks downward. When you reach the thin plank "bridge", cross it carefully. Also, watch for wooden trunks you can open throughout this mission; despite their being unmarked, there's often goodies inside them.
- Secret #1: After crossing the thin planks, open the wooden truck to the left of the barrel on the other side.
- Keep following the path downward, traveling through a cave, encountering a Cooperation Concentration event, and back outside. The enemies will be stuck with the low ground and are easy pickings, especially with a shotgun.
- You'll eventually encounter a drawbridge. It will be raised up. Thomas will have to head to the dead-end with the ladder and lasso up to the platform above, allowing him to throw a lever behind the drawbridge. Ray has to cover him from some Confederates coming from the bottom left.
- Secret #2: Face the drawbridge from your side, where it will lower. Behind you are a pair of barrels with liquor bottles scattered on them. The secret is on the floor in between them.
- Cross the drawbridge and fight your way down to another Cooperation Concentration event. Head into the tunnel.
- Secret #3: Before doing this Cooperation Concentration event, grab the secret inside the nearby mine cart.
- Blast your way through the tunnel to the other end of it, heading outside. The boys will stop to comment on a lift they can use.
- Secret #4: Before continuing to the lift after leaving the tunnel, grab the secret on the ground behind the nearby supplies crate. This secret is VERY hard to spot, tucked behind the crate facing the cliffside and is barely reachable.
- At the bottom, Thomas will have to cross the gap using thin planks, then lasso and climb his way up to the elevator, lowing it down for the group to use. Ray, as always, will cover him. The baddies here have heavy weapons, so don't be afraid to take cover if you are Ray.
- Once the elevator is ready, hop in. It will lower down. Eventually you will get a checkpoint and explosive barrels will start raining from above. Shoot them out of the air before they strike the elevator; if too many do so, it's game over.
- Quite A Ride: If you can shoot all the barrels without any striking your elevator, you will get this. It's very easy using even a single Quickshooter.
- After the barrel attack, you'll come under fire from below. Shoot the soldiers as fast as you can. Once the lift finally reaches bottom, get out of there.
- Secret #5: In the big moldy trunk right in front of where you disembark from the elevator lift, next to a barrel.
- Past the lift is a gatling gun Ray can carry. Blaze a trail all the way down.
- Eventually you encounter another Cooperation Concentration event. There will be a LOT of enemies for this one. Do your best and use Ray's gatling gun if your him to mop up survivors.
- Take the horses when all's quiet. Snipers will attack as you ride off; ignore them and keep riding till the level ends.
- Begin by joining your McCall brother in climbing up the cliffs near the start. After reaching the objective, go back down.
- Follow the wagons as they head down the trail. At one point you'll be asked to search some woods; do so.
- Continue on and a cutscene involving an Indian scout will occur. Keep moving.
- Secret #1: After the Indian scout cutscene, continue on the trail and keep a sharp eye on the left-hand side of the road. You should see a wagon wreck on the left at the next right turn; it's in the half-buried black crate by the wreck. Quickly grab the secret before your wagons reach the waterfall ahead.
- You will eventually encounter a waterfall; a wagon will get stuck in the river crossing. Help push the wagon, after which an ambush will occur.
- Secret #2: There's a small tent with a black crate just on the other side of the river, right next to the waterfall.
- Fight off the rampaging Indians until you are tasked with taking out the snipers on the cliff above. Do so by going left around the cliff to a trail leading up. Kill them and return to the group at the waterfall.
- Secret #3: Search the cliff with the Indian snipers for a woven basket with a secret on top of it.
- Will and Marisa' wagon has rode off. Ride after them; you'll learn that they've been seperated by Indians, and Ray must save Will while Thomas saves Marisa.
- Ray will need to head down towards Will, and lead him back up to the fork in the road.
- The wagon is missing. Collect the supplies left behind and head towards the next objective. Be very careful that no enemies slip past you and attack Will.
- Fight your way to the top to rendezvous with Thomas and Marisa, then head to the next objective.
- Thomas needs to climb the mountainside towards Marisa. There will be a smattering of Indians along the way, but you can snipe them all from very far. If they get close, bushwhack them from around cover.
- Keep going up top till you encounter Marisa, then follow her back down. There will be no Indian attacks on the way down.
- Either path will see you returning to the river crossing; blast your way back to it. Watch out for Juarez below; he will take a few shots at first, not yet aware that you are friendly.
- After meeting with Juarez, ride with your group to a strait. There will be a massive battle here, with many Indians peek-a-booing out of the water. Be careful not to get caught out in the water.
- Secret #4: Search the strait thoroughly for a canoe with the secret inside it.
- Once the action has died down, cross the strait with your group. Follow them up the mountain side.
- Secret #5: You will eventually come across a ravine pass with a bright beam of sunlight lighting up this dark area. Search around near where the beam lands and you'll spot a dead man and his horse, killed by Indians. Take the secret he holds.
- You'll finally rendezvous with the missing wagon. Ray will go right; Thomas left. Ray need simply bushwhack the Indians, while Thomas must lasso over a gap, cross a log bridge, then snipe them all from the ridge above (to get down after the fight's over, step down carefully using the boulders to the right of the ridge).
- The level concludes with a rail shooting sequence. Simply gun down the pursuing Indians with the gatling gun until it's all over.
- Seeing Farther will man you canoe while the McCall brothers shoot at any living Navajo Indian on the shoreline. Make sure to kill the one trying to flee in his own canoe.
- After the first battle, Seeing Farther will park the canoe and you will follow him to the Navajo village.
- Seeing Farther suggests going around; follow him. Thomas will pull Ray up a small cliff, and you'll continue.
- Secret #1: Just past where Thomas pulls up Ray is a woven basket by some teepees. The secret is lying on it.
- Your group will be spotted. Ignore the chaos in the village especially if you are Ray as ammo for him in this level is rare. Just keep charging up the mountain trail.
- Ray will need to set dynamite when asked to blow up rocks, cutting off the village Navajo. Afterward, keep going up the mountain trail, blasting all in your way.
- Fight your way to the top of the burial area, then approach the rope bridge.
- The rope bridge collapses in the cutscene, and you must go around. Follow your group.
- Secret #2: Right next to the bridge is a totem pole, and next to that is a ladder. Climb it and grab the secret up top.
- The group encounters a chasm and a rotting tree. The McCall brothers will need to push it over to make a bridge; cross it and continue to a stream.
- Secret #3: After pushing the tree down and crossing it, hug the left-hand rock wall as you travel forward, facing the stream. You should see a dead Navajo by his canoe on the shore. Take his secret.
- Follow the group upstream and blast all the Navajo in your way. Watch out for sharpshooters high above on your left.
- The stream dead-ends and Seeing Farther will lead you up another trail, to near where the sharpshooters from before where. Make sure to explore their former perch for some valuable ammo.
- Keep following the group upward. You will blast apart one more horde of Navajo, then encounter a lake.
- Follow the group up another trail. You'll be hit by Navajo from the front and the right. Wipe out all the Navajo.
- Secrets #4 and #5: After killing all the Navajo here, the McCall brothers will comment on the nearby pair of shacks. Each of the shacks holds a black chest with a secret.
- Head down and shoot down yet another batch of Navajo. If you're Ray, you'll need to set the dynamite on the dam yourself. Once the dynamite is set, quickly shoot one more group of Navajo and escape before the explosion claims everyone.
- Head out to the now drained lake. Cross it to the other side and get ready for a big Cooperation Concentration event.
- Battle your way forward. An endless horde of Navajo will arrive from behind. Fight them off for a bit until Seeing Farther gets the medallion, then follow the group and blast your way to a pair of canoes.
- Four groups of canoes packed with Navajo will attack you at this point. Two ahead will nearly broadside you, the other two will chase you a bit from behind before giving up.
- Rowing-Race Cheater: You must kill all the Navajo riding in these four canoes, reseting to a checkpoint if you fail. It's not a bad idea to save a Concentration attack for the canoes coming from the rear. If you are Ray and you don't have a rifle, make sure to use fine aim for one of your pistols.
- Past the canoes will be a trio of snipers on the left. You must kill all three or they will kill Seeing Farther. Once they are dead, you will see a cutscene and then the end of the level.
- Man of the Hood: You must start this level as Thomas and complete it using ONLY the bow, never firing a single shot from any weapon nor the gatling gun. Hopefully you've progressed into this level with a Prime Bow and full set of arrows for Thomas; if not, you can round up some arrows at least by the firepit and a nearby crate holding a Prime Rifle. After the cutscene where the gatling gun is destroyed, follow Ray and the brave; that brave will always be killed in a scripted sequence and you can collect his arrows as well as two more sets next to a pair of teepees that Ray always runs past. For the final sequence where Ray sets dynamite, you need only kill one, maybe two shooters from below, so don't worry about running low on arrows for this sequence.
- Right off the bat, you will be under assault from Barnsby's men, attacking from the leftward ridge and a couple lurking around the teepees. Drive them off. There's plenty of secrets to collect as you do so.
- Secret #1: In a basket next to the red-and-white teepee on the left-most edge of the village (close to a totem pole).
- Secret #2: Look for a post in the village center with a gong-like decoration and a skull mounted on it. The secret is in one of the circular baskets next to the post.
- Secret #3: Look for another post similar to the one described in Secret #2. Check the nearby square basket next to the teepee.
- After repelling the first wave from the ridge, the rest will charge up a trail from the left. Waste them all but stay off the main trail.
- After killing enough, a wagon with a gatling gun will appear. Quickly shoot the gunner, and if you are Ray, tear it off the wagon so no one else can grab it.
- After killing enough, a cutscene will occur, and then it will be time to flee.
- Race through the village following your allies. It will be blown to pieces by shelling from the Confederates.
- Thomas will need to pull Ray up a couple ledges as the Confederates keep shooting at you from below. Keep retreating upwards whenever you can.
- When you are high up enough, you will need to speak with your brother to get a cutscene and a new objective: bring an avalanche on the Confederate artillery.
- Secret #4: Immediately after the cutscene where the McCalls discuss burying the Confederate artillery in a landslide, race up the cliff's edge you are on towards a small four-post structure overlooking what's left of the village. The secret is in the basket here.
- Secret #5: From Secret #4, turn right, swiveling past the totem pole, until you see your first teepee. It's in the basket right next to it.
- Follow your McCall brother up the switchback to the rocks. Ray will need to set the dynamite while Thomas covers.
- Once the dynamite is set, get out of there before the explosion takes you. The level ends after this objective is completed.
- Ride into the ghost town. Stop by the weapons dealer for supplies if you like, including Prime Heavy Scoped and Superb Shotguns.
- Follow your brother and you will hear a voice. Head towards the bank and then down the street for a house with a skirmish waiting inside.
- Secret #1: In an opened safe by the front door of the bank. There's also a Prime Sawed-Off with ammo in the safe.
- Ray will need to kick in the front door of that house; Thomas will need to lasso his way up to the second floor. Capture it and continue to the next house.
- Clear the next house as before. Ray's dynamite will wipe out everyone in the first floor.
- Secret #2: Face the front door of the second enemy house, then go left and around the corner where the crate and barrel is. There's a moldy trunk here with a secret.
- Go back outside and mop things up. A cutscene will appear. You'll then need to kill Confederates shooting from the rooftops of the saloon ahead.
- Kill the trio to the left first, then whittle away at the group in the saloon.
- Eventually the Confederates will start spamming dynamite from the second floor of the saloon. Thomas will need to lasso up a nearby balcony to snipe them back, while Ray covers. However, if your Ray, you can just toss dynamite through the second floor windows yourself to speed things up.
- Taking out the dynamite spammers will open the saloon doors, revealing a gatling gun squad. Try to take them out with dynamite or Concentration attack.
- With the gatling gun squad down, kill the rest with a Cooperation Concentration event, then enter the saloon and go up the second floor.
- Secret #3: Before going up to the saloon's second floor, open the moldy trunk on the first floor, in a corner of the room.
- A cutscene will play, and then you'll need to kill O'Donnel in a duel.
- After killing O'Donnel, you must follow your McCall brother to a shoot-out at a barn, after which travel through the barn into a cemetery.
- Secret #4: Go to the left of the barn and all the way around it to find a moldy trunk in the back with a secret.
- There will be some light resistance in the cemetery, but it's to lull you before they send another gatling gun squad coming out of the church ruins ahead. Use a Concentration attack to get rid of them.
- Secret #5: Face the gatling gun, then go to the right towards the tombstones by the church and open the moldy trunk.
- Now you must kill Barnsby. Just commandeer the gatling gun, turning it all the way around, and shoot the church bell repeatedly until it's over.
- Get your knives out and kill the two thugs on the wall, then lasso your way up.
- Drop down and hustle to the stables. Ray will blow up the main gate, and there will be "infinite" guards all over the place. Always stay on the move as they have excellent firepower and Thomas is very weak defensively.
- Secret #1: Before dropping down, follow the rampart to the right till you encounter a suitcase blocking your path, right near the stables. Open it for a secret.
- If you wish, you can go out the destroyed main gate to buy weapons from a merchant. At any rate, enter the stables for a cutscene and a new objective: find three horses and bring them into the stables.
- Secret #2: Inside a suitcase in the stables.
- Secret #3: Face the main gate Ray blew up, then follow the inside wall to the left. There will be several side rooms you can enter; keep searching every one you find until you find a suitcase inside one of them.
- Secret #4: Like with Secret #3, face the main gate Ray blew up, then follow the wall this time to the right, searching each of the side rooms until you find the one with the suitcase.
- Secret #5: In a suitcase by some hay bundles, right next to the horse that is the remote corner of Fort Juarez.
- Once the third horse is in, Juarez' men will try to burn down the stables. Use the buckets inside to put the fire out, then take out the thugs outside, preferably with a Concentration attack.
- Ray's section will be very simple. Escort Will (make sure he's not harmed) and blast your way out of his cell.
- In the next room, take out the next set of enemies, then go right and head into the next area.
- Secret #1: In the area with the second battle, stop and check behind the trio of crates for a suitcase before moving on.
- Turn the corner and kill some more men, then more camping with powerful guns. After they are dead, go down the hall on your right.
- There will be a big battle in this wide room with lots of crates. Use Concentration attacks if you have any.
- Secret #2: In a suitcase by a large iron gate in this room.
- Blast your way through the now-linear path into stairs leading to a door Ray must break down. That door leads into a mess hall.
- In the mess hall, kill all the thugs and escort Will to the other side for another door to kick in.
- Secret #3: Turn right from the door you must kick in and you'll spot a suitcase by a bench. It's in the suitcase.
- Ray will escort Will into the next room. Open the double doors on the first floor only to be nearly shot to death (don't go outside!). Will will now lead you to a sewer grate.
- Secret #4: Before leaving with Will, open the suitcase that is in one of the corners of this room.
- Follow Will back through the tunnels to a room with a sewer grate. Throw dynamite down the grate to blow it open and dive in. You'll land in a watery sewer.
- Secret #5: In a suitcase on a crate right in front of where you land in the sewer.
- Follow the sewer out into a series of tunnels. It's really a linear path; kill your way to a boss, Juarez himself.
- In Juarez' room, he'll rain dynamite from above while a few thugs pester you. Kill all thugs and dodge the dynamite; don't worry about Juarez.
- Eventually Juarez himself will appear. He's nothing that dual Quickshooters to the head can't handle, and a Concentration attack will definitely hurt him. When he's had enough, he'll challenge you to a duel. Kill him to end the level.
- Fight through the horde of Confederates until you get a cutscene. There's a gatling gun on the floor if you are Ray and wish to use it.
- Even though the tomb is filling up with sand, keep fighting on. Eventually you will be able to climb the central spiral stairs.
- The stairs lead up top to the final boss, Barnsby. A boulder will smash the walkway, preventing access to him. You'll need to either snipe him and his men repeatedly as Thomas, or as Ray, simply spam dynamite until he's done for. Make sure to use Concentration whenever you can.
