Assault Tips

1. The SPAS-12 Shotgun is a tough assault weapon to beat, especially once the accuracy increasing grip attachment is unlocked
2. The Scar consumes ammunition quickly, so slight of hand is imperative
3. Other good aids are “stopping power” and “commando”, these lead to longer melee range, this means fewer bullets and easier knife kills
4. Once the scar is unlocked, the famas is the best option. The three rounds will deliver high amounts of damage and are highly accurate
5. When playing “free for all” or “deathmatch” it is best to keep moving, only occasionally taking cover is OK, but are likely to be caught doing this eventually
6. The P90 (which needs to be unlocked) is the most powerful sub-machine gun

Sniper Tips

1. The best sniper rifle in the game is the Barrett .50 Cal
2. Try unlocking “tactical insertion”. This is a flare that will set the next respawn point
3. The silencer sounds very good, but remember both power and range will be lost
4. Use the FMJ attachment, this increases bullet penetration
5. For invisibility, use perks such as “scrambler”, “ninja” or “cold blooded”

Riot shield Tips

1. The primary purpose of the riot shield is to distract enemies, whilst team-mates pick them off
2. Use the riot shield to soak up the bullets and force the opposition back. If the opponents group, they can be killed in a shower of bullets
3. Riot shields are great for defending and capturing objectives

Free for all Tips

1. Watch out for opponents who are on the top of buildings and ledges
2. Stay inside buildings and rely on secondary weapons and knives to avoid get shot regularly
3. Retreat, back-up and take cover if in a bad position to return fire

Capture the Flag Tips

1. Capturing the opponents flag definitely requires teamwork
2. Capturing the flag requires a coordinated approach. If everybody attacks the person carrying the flag it will be lost. Do not send lone players as they will get picked off
3. Keep some people in defense, send a solid, united force into the enemy base
4. Use the marathon perk if carrying the flag
5. One player should lead with a riot shield to soak up the bullets. Supporting players kill the defenses. One player makes a grab for the flag

Sabotage Tip

1. If a bomb is seen, grab it and go for it

Domination Tips

1. Use flag grenades to clear out defenses
2. Use smoke grenades to obscure, when attempting to capture
3. Go prone, don't be a target

The story is similar to Call of Duty 4 and involves American and British armed forces.

5. Players can create their own class
6. If a host of a campaign leaves, then a replacement host is found rather than the campaign being prematurely concluded (this was a major criticism of the previous version)

5. Blast Shield (lvl. 19) – Increased explosive resistance.
6. Claymore (lvl. 31) – Anti-personnel mines.
7. C4 (lvl. 43) – Remote-detonating explosives.

1. Marathon – Infinite sprint. (Pro: Mantle faster.)
2. Slight of Hand – Faster reloading. (Pro: Faster aiming.)
3. Scavanger (lvl 13) – Resupply from dead bodies. (Pro: Extra mags.)
