The M14 is an assault rifle from Call of Duty: Black Ops, but it also appears in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. In the Campaign Mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops, the M14 is used mainly by the USMC and SOG troops, and players will have access to it when they play the fifth mission of the game, known as S.O.G. Additionally, this weapon is also dropped by friendly units when they die, and the player can pick it up from them.http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/M14
In the Multiplayer Mode, the M14 costs 2000 CoD points and is capable to support the following attachments: Grenade Launcher, Flamethrower, ACOG Scope, Red Dot Sight, Reflex Sight, Masterkey, Suppressor, Infrared Scope and Extended Magazines. If the player attaches the Grip which lowers the weapon’s recoil, and the ACOG Scope, the M14 can be compared with a sniping riffle but with lower damage long long-range. This is a medium-ranged weapon and with moderate penetration and is capable to fire only 625 rounds per minute. The M14 comes with the normal magazine which can hold 20 rounds, but if the Extended Magazine is applied the weapon will carry 30 rounds.http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/M14
In Kino der Toten and Five, the maps from the Zombie Mode, this weapon can be purchased off the wall for 500 points, but due to its low fire rate, it can't be used too much especially because the number of zombies increases with each wave. If the player decides to use it in the Pack-a-Punch machine, the M14 will feature increased damage, fire-rate and a magazine capable to hold 16 rounds. Players will observe that the M14 will change its name to Mnesia. http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/M14
