The Ballistics Knife is a secondary weapon in Call of Duty: Black Ops, the first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch. In the Multiplayer Mode, this weapon is unlocked at level 15 and costs 1500 CoD points. The Ballistics Knife acts like a throwing knife however players will observe that the blade’s speed is slower therefore timing is essential while using this weapon. Even if it’s a knife, the character can still use the melee knife and he will dual wield these weapons.http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Ballistic_Knife
In the Multiplayer Mode of the game, the Ballistics Knife appears in the Sticks and Stones game mode along with the Tomahawk. As a silent weapon it produces no sounds but the character’s position will be revealed to his enemies as soon as he fires the weapon.http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Ballistic_Knife
The Ballistics Knife can also be used in the Zombie Mode and if the player hits the enemy’s head (head-shot) the target is eliminated. To purchase it in this mode, the player must spend 950 points and he must have access to the Mystery Box. If the Ballistics Knife is used on the Pack-a-Punch machine the weapon’s name will change to the Krauss Refibrilator. It can be used by a player to revive a fallen team-mate and will also unlock the "See Me, Stab Me, Heal Me" achievement.http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Ballistic_Knife
Since this weapon features low ammunition, one of the perks preferred by players is the Scavenger because this perk reloads the weapon without having to pick up the fired blades.http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Ballistic_Knife
Mahalo’s team of gamers created a video recording especially for the Ballistics Knife and how it should be used while playing Call of Duty: Black Ops. The video was published on YouTube and players can watch it to learn more about this secondary weapon and its features.
