• Call of Duty 2 is a World War II, historical first-person shooter game developed by Infinity Ward. It is the fourth game in the Call of Duty series.

  • Game Play

    Call of Duty 2 may be played as a single-player or multi-player game, allowing up to 64 players on each server of the PC version and eight players on the Xbox 360 version. There are four individual campaigns, split into three stories. The campaigns include Eastern Front, North African campaign, Battle of Normandy and Crossing the Rhine. During each campaign, players take on a different role, portraying a different soldier:

    1. Eastern Front campaign: Private Vasili Ivanovich Koslov of the Red Army
    2. North African campaign: British soldier Sergeant John Davis of the 7th Armoured Division
    3. Battle of Normandy: Corporal Bill Taylor of the 2nd Ranger Battalion.

  • Popularity

    The Xbox 360 version of the game sold over 250,000 copies during its first week of sales. As of October 2006, over 1.4 million copies had been sold for the Xbox 360 version alone.
