Calculus is the field of math pertaining to derivatives, limits, definite and indefinite integrals and power series.
Glossary
- Limit: Describes the behavior of a function's output as the input nears a given point.
- Derivative: Is the rate of change of a function at a given point. It is the slope of the line tangent to the curve at that point.
- Integral: Also called antiderivative, the result is a function that is capable of measuring the area located between the original function and the abscissa over a given range.
- Power Series: An infinite series of coefficients/variable products that is raised to an incrementally increasing power.
