Cake is a Rock band from Sacramento, California that has built a loyal fanbase and devoted following for their unique mix of Pop, Funk, Jazz and Country music. Cake's second album Fashion Nugget (in 1996) became their breakout success and spawned the hit radio single "The Distance". After five more albums and a number of hit singles, the band has become one of the most popular bands on the Alternative Rock scene.
