The Cafe Leopold restaurant was one of the buildings targeted during a series of terrorist attacks on the city of Mumbai on November 26, 2008. The Cafe Leopold is a backpacker hangout located behind the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. The cafe was one of the first targets. Between about 9:30 and 9:45 pm on November 26, two men in their mid-20s arrived at the cafe and starting firing machine guns into the crowd.
