Cadillac Records Trailer

Set in the 1950's, Cadillac Records centers on the Chicago-based blues record label which started the careers of Chuck Berry, Etta James and Muddy Waters. It is based on a true story of the rise and fall of the record company and its owner, Leonard Chess.

The Cadillac Records trailer begins by setting the scene of the smooth jazz and blues era in 1950s Chicago. The owner of Cadillac Records, Leonard Chess, firmly lashes at the singer Etta James that "You just sing the blues, you don't live 'em". The turbulent era was changed by the legends that emerged as role models to the black community. The different singers and their lives are then shown who have passed through the famous blues record doors. The trailer finishes with Beyonce's rendition of "At Last".
