Unlike the previous episodes of the series, Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 features a story focused on Cole Rainsford. According to gamespy.com, Rainsford starts his adventures when he joins his father on a safari in Africa. His task is to hunt the animals that are threatening the villagers. Later in the game, Rainsford and his father will observe that they are lost and their only chance of survival depends on their hunting skills.
