C19A is the world's largest iceberg. It was formerly part of an even larger iceberg called C-19, but in the summer of 2003 C19 broke into 2 pieces. Before that, C-19, was part of the Ross Ice Shelf, which is the largest shelf of ice in Antarctica. C19A is over 4,000 kilometers in area, and continues to float in Antarctic waters. B-15, an even larger iceberg, was much larger than C-19, but it broke apart in late 2007, making C19A the world's largest.
