Byron Velvick, a professional bass fisherman, appeared on the sixth season of The Bachelor. He ultimately proposed to former cheerleader and show contestant Mary Delgado. Over the next few years they changed their wedding plans multiple times. Delgado was arrested in 2007 and charged with domestic battery, after Byron called the police during a domestic dispute.
