Cooking a Butterball Turkey
In this video, Mary Clingman, the director of the Butterball Turkey Help Line, demonstrates how to cook a whole turkey. Place the turkey on a flat rack, and season the turkey by brushing with oil. Insert a meat thermometer in the breast, thight or stuffing. If turkey isn't stuffed, place the thermometer in the lower part of the thigh. Set the oven for 325 degrees and place the turkey in the oven. When the thermometer reaches 180, the turkey is done.
