Butt Drugs is an actual pharmacy that was established by the Butt family in the early 1950s. The first pharmacist was William "Blackie" Butt. Eventually, Butt's son Thomas Butt became a pharmacist and began helping in the store in 1971. Thomas Butt's daughter, Katie Butt, also opted to help run the family business and the two began working side by side in 2001. Unlike her father and grandfather, Katie Butt opted to get her degree in management from Indiana University. The elder Butt's were both Purdue University graduates.http://www.buttdrugs.com/index.html
