Burnout

Burnout is a high-speed video game and is also a series of games developed by Criterion Games. It was initially known as "Shiny Red Car" before the name was changed to Burnout. The game, as well as the series, is known for players driving vehicles at high speeds trying to cause as much damage as possible to its vehicle as well as other vehicles on the roads. The game received average to above-average reviews from video game critics.

The main feature in Burnout is Championship Mode, which is a selection of events that include three or four races. The player competes against other vehicles trying to accomplish the best score possible. As the game progresses, players have to use faster vehicles to accomplish tasks and reach first place. There are other modes in the game, including Single Race, Time Trial and Multiplayer.
