Burger King launched a new commercial in March 2008 titled Morning Tongue that caused a significant amount of buzz with various bloggers online. The commercial depicts a man waking up out of bed in the morning with his tongue completely stiff. He then leaves his house and gets into his car while attempting to hide his stiff tongue. The voice over announces that Morning Tongue is nothing to be embarrassed about, "... it's just your body building up excitement overnight for hash browns filled with cheese... sporting Morning Tongue is perfectly natural."
