Bunny Cakes

Easter bunny cakes are typically made with yellow cake mix and green tinted coconut flakes. To decorate the bunny cake, you can use chocolate chunks, jelly beans, M & M's for the eyes and gum drops can be used for the nose. Use a red Twizzler candy for the mouth and smaller strips for the nose whiskers and eyebrows. The shapes of a bunny cake can be the bunny head, the full-body with ears up or ears down, 3D full-body bunny and more.

Different types of cake mixes can also be used, such as carrot cake, chocolate, vanilla, yellow, white, spice and coconut mixes to customize the bunny cake to suit you best. A bunny cake is one of the most popular Easter cakes.

A Bunny Cake is a traditional Easter Dessert, but it is also a great dessert to celebrate the coming of spring time or for a child's birthday cake. Easter falls on April 4, 2010.
