Bun B and his late partner Pimp C were the members of the southern rap group UGK ("The Underground Kings"). The pair formed the group while they were high school students. Bun B and partner Pimp C founded the record label Trill Entertainment in 2001. Pimp C, was found dead in a California hotel room in December of 2007. While Pimp C was incarcerated for nearly four years, Bun B advocated for his release.
