With a 6-10 regular season record in 2009, the Buffalo Bills were at the bottom of their division that featured two playoff teams and a playoff contender. If the Bills hope to rebound in 2010, they will have to do so facing six playoff teams from 2009. Buffalo will play 8 home games and 8 away games in their 16-game NFL regular season. Their home games are played at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo but, in 2009, they did host a game in Toronto as well. Based on their last place finish during the 2009 season, the Bills will play a last place schedule, as well as games against their AFC Easts opponents, teams in the AFC North, and teams in the NFC North. The Bills were a “vanilla” team, especially on offense, even with the enigmatic Terrell Owens at wide receiver, and will be in search of big plays without TO, who is a free agent, as they look ahead to 2010.
Of course, they will need to contend against the powers in their own division with home and away series against the New England Patriots, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins. They also have additional home dates with the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions of the NFC North, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, and Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bills complete their road schedule with visits to the AFC North teams the Baltimore Ravens, and Cincinnati Bengals, as well as the Kansas City Chiefs, and NFC North teams the Minnesota Vikings, and Green Bay Packers. http://www.buffalobills.com/
