  • Buddy Jewell is a country music singer who won theUSA Network's first season of Nashville Star. After winning the competition Jewell was signed to Columbia Records, in 2003. His self-titled debut album was released that same year. It debuted in the number one position and went gold. The album produced the two hit songs "Help Pour Out the Rain" and "Buddy Jewell Song Sweet Southern Comfort." In total, he has released two albums and had four singles wind up on the Billboard country charts. Jewell's second album wasn't as successful as his first and as a result in 2005 he was let go from his contract.
