"Severance Package" — 2011 Bud Light Super Bowl Commercial
Bud Light Super Bowl Commercial - Severance Package
The 60-second Bud Light Super Bowl Commercial titled Severance Package opens with an office worker asking, "You hear they let Gary go?" His coworkers express disbelief, then are told that for his severance package, Gary was given a case of Bud Light. The laid-off worker is shown happily exiting the office with his case of beer. The other office workers conspire to create more and more elaborate scenarios in order to get themselves fired, including parading naked through the office, playing drums in their cubicle, putting an "I'm a Jackweed" sign on the back of their boss, riding a motorcycle through the office, while yelling "Kiss my *bleeped expletive*," playing golf in the office, using the office of their boss as a bathroom, riding an ostrich through the office, and jackhammering the office floor. When fired, the commercial tag line of "It's a sure sign of a good time" is played, accompanied by an image of Bud Light bottles.
