  • Bud Foster is the defensive coordinator for the Virginia Tech Hokies football team. Foster's first job in coaching was as a graduate assistant at his alma-mater, Murray State University.

  • Brief Biography

    A high school standout, Bill Foster played safety and outside linebacker for Murry State University. After his playing career was over, Foster attained the graduate assistant job, and from then on maintained a job in coaching. Although considered for the head coaching job at West Virginia University, Foster remains an assistant at Virgina Tech.
