Buca di Beppo

Buca di Beppo is a chain of authentic Italian restaurants, specializing in Northern and Southern Italian food, served family style for parties of two to two-hundred The name means Joe's Basement, their first restaurant was opened in 1993 in a Minneapolis basement.

The Buca di Beppo chain is owned by Buca, Inc., which is wholly-owned subsidiary of Planet Hollywood.

The restaurants are famous for their quirky decor and upbeat atmosphere. They are themed with vintage framed photographs hung throughout the entire restaurant and there is a Pope table and kitchen table available at every location.

Buca di Beppo restaurants are referred to as a fun place to go for Italian traditions of food, friendship and hospitality.

Buca di Beppo History

Buca di Beppo opened its first restaurant in 1993 in a Minneapolis basement. In 1994 Parasole Restaurant Holdings, Inc. acquired Buca di Beppo. After some business losses with a tough economy and financial mismanagement by former executives, Planet Hollywood's parent company, Planet Hollywood International, Inc., purchased the Buca chain for US$28.5 million on August 5, 2008.http://www.startribune.com/business/26290924

Today Buca Di Beppo has 83 locations nationwide.

The Buca di Beppo menu features dishes made for generations throughout Italy. Diners can select from appetizers, pastas, pizzas, desserts, salads, entrees, beer and wine.
