Bubba Franks

Professional football tight end Bubba Franks plays for the New York Jets in the National Football League. He was released by the Green Bay Packers in February of 2008 and signed with the Jets in March 2008.

Franks began his career playing college football with the Miami Hurricanes, where he was named All-American in 1999. Franks was drafted 14th overall in the 2000 NFL draft by the Green Bay Packers. He made his NFL debut that same year with the Packers. In 2001, Franks was selected for his first of three consecutive Pro Bowl games. Following the 2007 season, Franks was released by the Packers.
