Bryce Salvador

  • Canadian professional hockey player Bryce Salvador plays for the New Jersey Devils in the National Hockey League.
  • NHL Career

    Salvador was drafted 138th overall in the 1994 NHL draft by the Tampa Bay Lightning. He continued to play for his junior team, the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the Western Hockey League, for several years after the draft. On December 16, 1996, he signed as a free agent with the St. Louis Blues. He joined the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate, the Worcester IceCats, in 1997. Salvador made his NHL debut with the Blues in 2000 and played with them until the 2004-05 NHL lockout, when he returned to the IceCats. Following the lockout, Salvador played nearly three additional seasons with the Blues before he was traded to the New Jersey Devils on February 26, 2008.
