Development History
The first version of Bryce 3D appeared in 1994. At the time, the software was only available for Macintosh computers. In the 2.0 release of the software, Microsoft Windows support was added. This version also included several new features to help geologists map mountain and coastal regions. Some of the new features included independent light sources and a new texture editor. The first animated version arrived in 1997. This version allowed geologists to see realistic simulations of these regions in motion.
