"The Wrestler" is an original song written by Bruce Springsteen for the film The Wrestler. On January 11, 2009, the song was awarded a Golden Globe Award for "Best Original Song." The award was Springsteen's second Golden Globe Award, after winning in 1994 for the song "Streets of Philadelphia."
It was released as a digital download on December 16, 2008 and included as a bonus track on Springsteen's album Working on a Dream
