Known as the "Sack Man" at his alma-mater, Virginia Tech University, Bruce Smith played as a defensive end for the Buffalo Bills from 1985-1999. He ended his career with the Washington Redskins in 2003.

Football Career
The Buffalo Bills picked Smith at the number one overall pick in 1985, after he was hailed as America's top lineman.
As a Buffalo Bill, Smith piled up 181 sacks, and was regarded as one of the NFL's most feared defensive linemen. Smith was voted into the Pro bowl 11 times, and was named as a first-team All-Pro eight times. Hampered by knee injuries, Smith ended his career with the Washington Redskins in 2003. He ended his career with the all-time record for most sacks with 200, and 1,224 total tackles.
