Bruce Fromong

Memorabilia collector Bruce Fromong is among the victims of a hotel room robbery allegedly orchestrated by former football star O.J. Simpson in September 2007. Disputed Ownership

According to Simpson, he and his companions were trying to retrieve several items belonging to him that had been stolen and were in Fromong's possession. The items in question included autographed sports memorabilia, a videotape of Simpson's wedding and the suit he wore when he was acquitted in 1995 of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. Fromang has not reported how the items came to be in his possession, but maintains that they belong to him and not Simpson.
Testimony
Fromong delivered the following testimony in a Las Vegas courtroom on September 15, 2008.
- "When [Simpson] first came through the door he stopped, then he proceeded into the room and started hollering at everyone. He was just yelling about how this is his stuff, how could you steal my stuff, I thought you were an OK guy, how could you steal my s---.
