About the Weapons
Both American and German weapons are accurately depicted in Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway. Weapons interact more realistically with the environment. They not only do damage to soldiers, but to "soft cover" as well, such as wooden structures and bushes. For this reason, unlike in some other games, an enemy hiding behind a wooden fence can still be struck by bullets. Sandbags will offer him protection, though, until destroyed by ballista.CVG: Brother in Arms: Hell's Highway (April 27, 2006)Weapon inaccuracy was a common compaint about previous games in the Brothers in Arms series.GameSpot: Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 Player Review 1up.com: Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 User Review Developer Gearbox has promised improved accuracy in Hell's Highway.Eurogamer: Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway Interview (November 22, 2007)
