The characters in Brothers In Arms Hells Highway are what separate it from other World War II games, according to its developers. "We're talking about real soldiers, people from history," said the game's director, Jeramy Cooke. "Certainly, there's a lot of fiction that goes into what we do, but it has a backbone to it that gives what we do a little more clout and allows us to go places that they're not going to go."MTV Multiplayer: One Liner: Brothers in Arms (September 23, 2008) Several characters from the previous game have returned, in addition to new characters to replace the dead.
