Brooklyn Building Collapse

- Date: June 21, 2009
- Location: Ryerson Street, Brooklyn, New York
- Four-story building collapsed
- Three people missing, believed to be trapped under the rubble
- Vesper Bar & Lounge collapsed, along with three floors of apartments directly above
- Near the intersection with Myrtle Avenue, in the Fort Greene area
- Adjoining buildings were evacuated as a precaution
- Cause of the collapse was not immediately known

On the afternoon of June 21, 2009, the Vesper Bar & Lounge and the three floors of apartments above collapsed on Ryerson Street in the Fort Greene area of Brooklyn, New York. Three people were injured after they were trapped under the rubble of the four-story building. Nearby structures were evacuated as a precaution.
