Broken Trail is a joint American/Canadian made-for-television Western mini-series from director Walter Hill and starring Robert Duvall. It originally aired on the AMC cable television network and was the inaugural original movie for the network.
Combining Elements of the Old West
Broken Trail draws on two factual situations -- the sale of horses to British soldiers and the Chinese human traffic trade -- and brings them into conflict with a man and his nephew attempting to get re-acquainted.
