    While few details are currently known, Ubisoft announced basics of the game in a press release, saying, "Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars – The Director's Cut builds on the original, boasting a new and explosive narrative interwoven with the first story. New puzzles have been added for Nintendo DS and Wii that specifically utilize Nintendo's unique control methods.     The original version of the game was released on the PC in 1996, and then re-made for the PS1 in the same year, and the Game Boy Advance in 2002.
