Pop star Britney Spears filmed two promo spots for the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards with its host, comedian Russell Brand.
In one of the promos, Spears jokes with Brand about not knowing his name and Brand tells Spears she is going to be his future wife.
The pair is also accompanied by a large elephant in the promos. The "elephant in the room" is a sly reference to Spears' lackluster performance at the previous year's award show. The pair never mentions the performance in either promo.
