Britney Spears lost physical custody of her kids. TMZ.com reported On October 1, 2007 that Kevin Federline, the boys' father, "is to retain physical custody of the minor children on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 12:00 PM until further order of the court."
- UPDATE: On February 27, 2008 Britney Spears was allowed a supervised visitation with her children after a 3 day negotiation between her and Kevin Federline's lawyers, where Federline's lawyer stated that Britney's father James Spears was instrumental in moving the custody arrangements in the best direction for their children - which is to reintroduce them to their mother in a positive and controlled manner.
- UPDATE: As of January 05, 2008 Britney Spears has lost custody and visitation rights to her children following her breakdown and hospitalization on January 03, 2008.
- UPDATE: The October 26 ruling stated that Britney Spears will get two visits per week with her kids. They will be from 12 noon to 7 PM and they must be monitored by a court-appointed supervisor.
