  • Britney Spears' sixth studio album, titled Circus, was released on December 2, 2008. Circus is the follow-up to Spears' 2007 album, BlackoutJust Jared: Britney is Womanizer Waiting (September 23, 2008) The album was released to coincide with Spears' 27th birthday.

  • Womanizer

    The first single from the album, "Womanizer" was released to radio stations on September 26. "Womanizer" reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in October 2008.   • Album Leaked Early

    On November 16, 2008, PerezHilton.com reported that the entire Circus album had been leaked online, weeks before its intended release.
